This book talk about how to measure coders. It stated three metrics: Skill, Response and Value. I think passion is also another important metric, but hard to be measure. If in Hong Kong, anti-blaming by project manager is also another important metric, there are too many skill-less managers in here, all their daily jobs are just keep blaming programmers.
Without coding skill, don’t ever think about measuring the performance of coders. But in here, too many managers claim that they can foresee coders performance by their experience, i am laughing.
